I am so thrilled to be able to have an in-depth conversation with Andrew Martin, Head of Food and Drink at AMRC; Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. I had the privilege of visiting AMRC on a couple occasions on Andrew's invitation- once with the BAME cohort for the Welsh government funded project, Bridging the Gap Between Finance and Opportunity for Black Owned Businesses which has been jointly run by Maggie Ogunbanwo and I for two years. He has welcomed us at the Centre, taken time to explain how innovation can make food business more efficient, answered all our questions and continues to embrace diversity in all respects.
On another occasion I was Andrew's a guest at the launch of the #manufacturingactionplan where I met Minister for the Economy Vaughan Gething MS Cardiff South & Penarth which has led to him supporting the conference as a Speaker.
I am very grateful to have Andrew Martin as an ally.
